The balance of Dr Somia’s fee is due 3 weeks before. Receipts/claiming instructions will be issued at your post-operative visit. Final rebates depend on timing and medicare items used (no rebates for cosmetic). Valid for 3 months & includes 6 months follow-up. OPTIMAL RECOVERY PROGRAM Includes a post operative course of low light therapy, radio frequency therapy and scar management protocol to assist with healing, and recovery.   **ANAESTHETIST ** The anaesthetist will contact you the day before surgery regarding payment and rebates applicable (above is a guide). If the listed surgical time extends $800 per hour is payable. Lakeview Private Hospital patients in BUPA, MBP and HCF funds pay a facility fee of $150 for day stay and $250 for overnight. Fund excess/Facility Fees are due at the time of hospital admission. *Self-Funded/No Fund This is a guide only for Lakeview Private Hospital.  Other hospitals fees may differ. A formal hospital estimate will be obtained. Notes: In the event of a complication or listed surgical time extends you may be liable for added fees.  Extra fees will apply for in-hospital pathology testing. Please factor in an additional nights accommodation in the event of a complication. ***Disclosure: Dr Somia is a shareholder in Lakeview Private. *** ### OTHER ITEMS   **PRE-SURGERY PATHOLOGY** Schedule fee where possible.   **I****N HOSPITAL PATHOLOGY** Out of pocket charges apply when required. Some health funds do not cover pathology and you will be liable for this portion of the invoice.   **RADIOLOGY/PHARMACY** As required.   **SURGICAL ASSISTANT** Dr Somia has a surgical assistant. In the event the listed surgical time extends $150 per hour is payable.   **REVISION** We cannot guarantee how the body will respond to surgery. Complications during the healing period, skin quality and other factors may result in the need for revision surgery. Some health fund's view revision surgery as cosmetic. If revision surgery is required there will be no additional change for Dr Somia. You will be liable for anaesthetist/hospital fees.   **ESTIMATE EXPIRY** Dr Somia’s fee valid for 3 mths.
