SKIN NEEDLING

Ideal for acne scarring, enlarged pores, textural concerns, fine lines and general age prevention, skin needling triggers collagen, elastin, and growth factors. Ultra-fine sterile needles oscillate over the skin at high speed, creating tiny punctures and stimulating a controlled wound-healing response. Simultaneously, hydrating serums are delivered deep into the skin via  microneedling channels.

Skin needling treatments can be tailored by altering the depth of the needle penetration. Deeper needling will lead to more visibly impactful results and is designed for more significant signs of ageing. Superficial needling incurs less pain but will not yield as much collagen production. It is however excellent at general texture and brightness improvements, and infusion of skincare ingredients.

VENUS VERSA

MP2 – Radiofrequency Tightening & PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic frequency)

Two energy types in one handpiece, for a painless and comfortable approach to thinning aged skin, lines and wrinkles, and overall texture tightness and clarity. Also used as part of our pre-surgical preparation and post-surgical care.

Delivering gentle bulk heating into the dermis via radiofrequency energy, the formation of collagen and elastin fibres is stimulated, as well as various growth and hydrating factors. Although laser and IPL are very different technologies, they can be used in similar ways. The Venus Versa IPL allows us to address overall skin tone and texture, fine lines, pigmentation such as freckles and age spots, vascular concerns such as visible capillaries/veins, and active acne.  From $300

Venus Viva – Ablative Radiofrequency
Ideal for those concerned with signs ageing – lines, wrinkles, poor texture, loss of volume and skin thickness, drooping and jowls, and more. Also ideal for scarring, including acne scars, surgical scars, injury or trauma, and stretch marks.

You may have heard of RF needling treatments like Morpheus8 and Vivace. Our alternative to RF Needling is the Venus Viva fractional RF. Instead of deeply-penetrating needles (known for their excessive force and painful experience) Venus Viva utilises superficial needles on the skin’s surface. RF energy is delivered through these pins deep into the skin, where it ablates the tissue in columns and leaves the rest untouched. This action, and the results generated, are comparable to some gentle co2 lasers.  From $600

Hydrodermabrasion (microdermabrasion using water) delivered via positive and negative pressure. Your treatment includes a variety of advanced liquid solutions, delivered into the skin at high pressure. This exfoliates superficial dead cell buildup, while simultaneously extracting pore blockages and blackheads with suction.

Healthy skin can assist to optimise and maintain surgical outcomes, reduce recovery downtime and lower the risks of scarring/pigmentation following surgery.

After undergoing surgery, the skin experiences a significant inflammatory period, decreasing the skin’s health and function. When the skin’s health is impaired, your surgical wounds will be slower to heal, may be more inflamed, or may form scar tissue more readily than healthier skin would.

By preparing the skin with clinical skincare prior to surgery, you are more likely to heal faster and more optimally, while undergoing a more comfortable experience.
