How It Works?

Injection of tiny amounts Botulinum Toxin type A weaken the treated muscle/s and help prevent the formation of expression lines. The muscles injected will not function whilst the injection is effective (e.g: you will not be able to frown if the muscles involved in frowning are injected). This will reverse itself after a period of months. 

Risks and Side Effects

Side effects and complications are usually minimal. Occasionally, headache, slight swelling, and/or bruising may occur after injection. An adjacent muscle may be weakened for several weeks after an injection, which may cause a temporary drooping of the eyelid or eyebrow.

Risks and Side Effects  

Side effects include swelling, bruising and local pain. These may last for a few hours up to a few days.    *Blindness

Do not rub the injected area immediately after. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Remain upright for 4 hours after.

It can take 4-14 days to take effect and usually lasts 3-4 months.

LIPS: Do not drink very hot or cold beverages whilst numb. Avoid touching the lips or kissing. 

ANY TREATMENT (for the first 2-3 days): Do not apply make-up (except mineral), touch the injected area (except with clean hands, flat fingers without pressure), swim or undertake strenuous exercise, go to a sauna, expose yourself to long periods in the sun or extreme temperatures. For the first month: avoid chemical peels, laser treatments and cosmetic tattoos to the treated area. 

The results are immediate and usually last 12-18 months.
