Lipoedema (Painful Fat Syndrome) is a connective tissue disorder. It is a progressive condition that affects many women. This genetic fat disorder affects 11% of Australian women with various presentations.

Online Lipoedema Course

Due to the high volume of patients Dr Somia has prepared an educational course on Lipoedema, designed to empower you with comprehensive knowledge about Lipoedema.

This course is structured into four informative video modules that will guide you through understanding, diagnosing, and managing Lipoedema effectively.

Completion of this course will assist in your decision on whether surgery is for you and is a requirement prior to making an appointment with Dr Somia.
